Analysis of China Mobile International Information Port Curtain Wall Project

China Mobile International Information Port: referred to as International Information Port, is the largest civil engineering project of China Mobile Group Corporation so far. Location: Located at the junction of North Sixth Ring Road and Beijing-Tibet Expressway, in Zhongguancun National Engineering Technology Innovation Base, Changping District, the recent construction scale is about 410,000 square meters, including R&D center, data center, call center and academic exchange center.

Once the data center is completed and put into use, it will become China Mobile's largest single data center and also the largest single data center among the three major telecom operators in Beijing.
The park covers an area of ​​1,322 acres and is a world-class information park integrating international operation support, R&D innovation, communication and display, industrial clusters and other functions. It is China Mobile's largest infrastructure construction project at present.

1. Project Overview

This project is located in the C35 plot of the National Engineering Technology Innovation Base in Caihe New Village, Shahe Town, Changping District, Beijing. The construction unit is China Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. The project is a group building consisting of three buildings, namely Building 1#, Building 2#, and Building 3#; Building 1# and Building 2# are scientific research office buildings, and Building 3# is a public supporting building. Buildings 1# and 2# have a building height of 44.2m and 6 to 9 floors; Building 3#: Building height is 16.1m and has 3 floors. The total construction area of ​​the project is 146,700 m², and the curtain wall area is about 70,000 m².
The exterior decorative curtain wall of this project mainly adopts unitized glass curtain wall, framed glass curtain wall, colored sunshade, full glass curtain wall, steel structure glass awning, electric skylight (mechanical and electrical matching), skylight, etc. The facades of buildings 1#2# and above the second floor are all in the form of unit curtain walls. A 350×50mm aluminum grille is installed outside the curtain wall. The grille spacing is a modulus of 750mm. The unit curtain wall grid is 1500mm. Some grilles are aligned with the unit grids. The grilles are composed of 5 colors from light to dark. The combination of sparse and dense arrangement of the grilles and the change of colors increase the dynamic effect of the building facade. At the same time, the grilles also play a sunshade effect. Full glass curtain walls are designed for different building facades. Behind the curtain walls are fully transparent stairs, which makes the building facade a combination of virtual and real, full of vitality, and has become one of the highlights of the building.

2. Curtain wall engineering technology

Unit curtain wall technology : We adopt advanced unit curtain wall technology. During the design, we strictly control the deformation of the deflection of the vertical rods while meeting the design strength of the vertical rods, thus creating conditions for the most important watertight performance design of the unit curtain wall.

The key control items are as follows:

Grid design The height of the plate is one layer height, and the width of the plate is a combination of one natural grid and two natural grids.
Plug design Units with different divisions and facade decoration styles have the same plug-in position elevation. The vertical plug-in position of the panels is selected at the indoor window sill to facilitate hoisting and indoor finishing.
Structural form Horizontal sliding structure
Profile design The cross-section profile adopts a double isobaric cavity and a three-way sealing system, and the vertical section profile adopts a quadruple isobaric cavity and a five-way sealing system
Sealed design Through the reasonable design of profile section, the unit curtain wall sealing system forms three sealing lines of defense, namely dust sealing line, water sealing line and air sealing line. The application of reasonable sealing system and rain screen isobaric cavity principle enables the unit curtain wall to achieve the best sealing effect.
Hook design The hangers are made of steel and the hangers are made of galvanized steel plate.

Through strict process control, the air tightness of the unit curtain wall reaches level 1 and the water tightness reaches level 2.

3. Brief description of sub-items

1. System 1: Vertical visible and horizontal invisible unit curtain wall system (vertical large and small buckle cover)

This system is one of the main glass curtain wall systems of this project. It is located on the second floor and above on the north and south sides of buildings 1# and 2# and the four facades of the inner courtyard. The main panel sizes are 1500mm×4200mm and 1500mm×4500mm .

The first partition upward from the building elevation adopts laminated glass 6+9 ( air )+5+1.52pvb+5 ;

2mm thick aluminum veneer, surface powder sprayed, coating thickness ≥40 microns.

Outdoor vertical aluminum alloy buckle cover

Outdoor vertical aluminum alloy buckle covers are available in two sizes: 220mm×90mm and 35mm×90mm . Please refer to the plan for their locations.

2. System 2: Fully hidden unit curtain wall system with external vertical aluminum alloy decorative blinds

This system is one of the main glass curtain wall systems of this project. It is located on the second floor and above on the east and west sides of buildings 1# and 2# . The main unit panel sizes are 1500mm×4200mm and 1500mm×4500mm .

3. System 3: Glass rib curtain wall system

The system is located in the circular corridors on the facades of buildings 1# and 2#: the main grid projection dimensions are 1500mm×4200mm; 1500mm×4500mm.

The glass panel adopts 8Low-E+9A+(6+1.52PVB+6) hollow tempered laminated ultra-clear glass;

Dual silver Low-E film on the second side;

The glass ribs are made of 15 mm tempered ultra-clear glass;

Edge finishing

The system is finished with 3mm aluminum plate edges on both the top and bottom, and the aluminum plate surface is treated with fluorocarbon spraying (three coatings);

The average coating thickness is 40 microns, and the smallest local thickness is ≥35 microns;

No opening fan design

4. System 4: First floor vertical visible and horizontal hidden frame glass curtain wall

The system is located on the first floor of buildings 1# and 2#, and the main grid projection dimensions are 1500mm×750mm; 1500mm×1500mm.

The system is located at the corner of the 2nd floor of Building 1#2#.

The glass panel adopts 8+18A+ (6+1.52pvb+6) tempered hollow Low-E laminated glass;

8+18A+8mm tempered hollow Low-E glass is used between the layers, and double silver Low-E film is on the second side
